"I like"

I've been thinking that taking pictures of friends is as fun as having parties in Colombia. They just let you direct them and let you do your "thing", that thing that makes me HAPPY and I know a lot of you too. I have no shame when talking or approaching to people to ask them if they want to pose or be my model for a photoshoot. In this particular case I did that with a girl from México. We had a blast in this photoshoot, although I didn't use a flash or anything to direct light, these pictures make me really happy, not only because she did a great job, but because the pictures are just amazing. She set one of the pictures as her profile picture in Facebook. Days passed by and I started getting notifications as usual, but one they I got one from that picture. SURPRISE: this picture have 114 "I likes" and 50 comments from her friends, family, etc.. I was stoked!!!! So, that's the picture I'm sharing with you today.
PS. I posted more images from that photoshoot! ENJOY.

White Sunday

Sunday is always a lazy day, late but yummy breakfast, bed, a lot of internet and maybe a couple of movies if you are lucky to find one you haven't seen in your cable. While I was surfing in the internet today I found a documentary film from a music group I like a lot. They are from Puerto Rico called Calle 13, and they are a little irreverents but with a reason. They use the microphone to talk to the world about deep problems in South America, violence, war, hunger and anything they see as unbelievable things. The documentary made me homesick, the sound of the gaitas, accordions and drums broke my heart, those images from places I've been. WOW. Amazing.
This is the link to one part of the documentary (the Colombian part) and also some pictures I took in La Guajira, Cabo de la Vela, Colombia a few years ago. ENJOY!
